I just bought that book, but only read the first chapter so far [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] I think I will be doing a lot of reading and reading and reading before I try anything. It does seem to offer a lot of information and step by step instructions. I would say from what I have seen so far it is worth buying the book.

You can read the first four chapters and try the exercises that are in them. They are posted on the sitepoint.com web site, and also at the mysql web site.

I did the exercises in the first four chapters. The way the book is laid out makes it easy to learn both php and mysql. I think I'm going to buy this book.
