I was looking for a similar discussion, but did not find anything, so I'm starting a new topic.
Is anyone familiar with a plugin for a website developed on a wordpress template that allows you to hold a forum style discussion where the posters are required to log into their social networking (primarily facebook) account prior to posting? I have found plugins like this, however they only work if your site is wordpress.org, which mine is not. Any help is appreciated. |

Wordpress.org doesn't host websites.
Wordpress.com does. Gary

to clarify:
every wordpress is considered wordpress.com or wordpress.org.. wordpress.com is a commercial WP blogging host service operated by Automattic which puts restrictions on what residing blogs can do, most notably restricting plug-ins. wordpress.org refers to any WP blog hosted anywhere else, aka 'self-hosted' there are no blogs operated on wordpress.org, it's where you get the wordpress software, et al. if you own mywordpressblog.com and host it on hostgator, you are for all intents and purposes, a wordpress.org blog. that's all it means. |
