Anybody else notice a big drop in sales?

My main reason for sticking it out with LinkShare is just one merchant. I usually make at least one sale a day with this merchant, but haven't seen a single sale post since May 3rd. I can't figure it out. What could be causing such a drastic change? Almost halfway through May, and the numbers stink!

Code:
Month Impressions Clicks C/I Orders Items O/C
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jan 14,145 1,881 13.30% 39 250 2.07%
Feb 8,858 1,353 15.27% 39 205 2.88%
Mar 9,953 1,911 19.20% 37 275 1.94%
Apr 4,834 1,223 25.30% 23 168 1.88%
May 2,068 324 15.67% 2 2 .62%
I know I took a big hit in drop in traffic the first of February with the Google update, but sales were holding steady for a while anyway.

"My main reason for sticking it out with LinkShare is just one merchant."I was in the same boat as you.. I decided that one merchant wasn't worth it..

Yes a HUGE drop in SALES.. over last month.. barely scrapping by this month..
some sales though.. but a HUGE DROP over the last several months...
COULD BE SUMMER / SPRING outside activities getting people away from their PCs --- BUT -- I think this is a MYTH.. people STILL have to work in the summer.. they still sit in front of the company PCs all day just as they do in winter.. Most of my sales appear to be during working hours any way... so why SUMMER / WINTER seems to make a difference I don't know..??

BUT yes big drop in sales..!

Same here, it's a fraction of what it was last month. Can't help but think something is wrong with their reporting.

The only problem I see with the 'SUMMER/SPRING more people outside' reasoning is
that traffic to our websites should also be much less then. If the traffic is still
holding steady, then I cannot believe in that reasoning. I could understand if traffic
is half of normal levels, then sales would be half of normal levels.

The only way any network can assure referral sales get reported is to require all clicks be physical clicks. S/W generated clicks from all sources should be banned from affiliate value-add marketing. Way too much cookie stuffing and cookie washing is taking place by the desperate gorilla marketers which is perfectly OK with the unethical commission driven AM firms who have a death hold on Linlshare,CJ and Performics..

I don't notice a drop in sales. May has been a normal month as far as sales reporting is concerned. The annoying thing however, is that since yesterday I keep on getting this message that my account could not be verified despite the fact that I was verified in March.

Count your blessings that you've only started getting the message since yesterday. I've been getting it for two weeks, but of course, they say it will be fixed on Monday.
