Anyone know what the Code in the Non Commission Sales for "4 Return Exceeded" means?

That is a common question

One that you can search for more details about but bottom line is that the order was placed after the cookie expired. It's a very frustrating but enlightening report.

If you remove merchants with stupid cookie durations from your sites, you will start to see less and less non commissionable sales in your reports and eventually, almost none. As Loxly said, it's a very enlightening report, albeit frustrating.

Anyone ever had the 4 Return Exceeded on a merchant who has a 120 day cookie?

Is this really bad luck or what ?

Guess thats another way for merchants to not pay, the networks really should be tightening down on those with ridiculous cookie expirations, like 24 hrs

the description is confusing. 4 is the code, not the return days. the return days are calculated based on whatever the merchant sets up. agree with loxly, very enlightenting report.
