Hi All!
I just wanted to let you know that SynergyAnalytics is down, the ETA is today 2:00 PM EST. I'll keep you posted if there are any changes.

A project that has been in beta for over 1 1/2 years and always goes down. Here are just some of the thread titles about Synergy Analytics, as you can see some titles repeat but those are all individual threads. Look, I think I notice a trend.

That's exactly what I thought when I read it.

Unfortunately, I think we're stuck with this unreliable, cumbersome piece of software. LinkShare has invested far too much time and money into it. To go back to square one would be a major admission of a mistake, and they just aren't ready to do that yet.

How do we know it's up the rest of the time? Does anyone check it when it's not time to get paid? That's about the only time I use it.

I check it periodically and it's frequently down.

It's back up now and updated with the 8/8 payment.

They've always been posted at the same time, so you might want to check with LinkShare if you don't show anything for the 8/8 payment.

I understand it's very aggravating. Ummm you guys might want to shoot me. I'll reword what I said.

I understand it must be very aggravating and know I'm jinxing myself now lol but ummm don't have a clue how I've managed to avoid this but I've never had it been down when I've used it. I only use it every couple weeks or once a month to keep track of the payments but don't know why....it's always behaved itself for me. Hope it's back working soon for all of you when you go to use it

You've been lucky. Obviously by the dozens of posts by the LS moderators themselves it is not a stable program or server, given the number of times they admit it is down.

Guess we all wish we had your luck.

Ron,

If you log into SA and go to merchant payment report - the report that says who paid linkshare - and when...

there are BLANK columns

For example, a particular merchant says paid May on June 21st (we were paid last check)

it is totally blank for June payment (the one we're hoping will be in tomorrows check)

then skips to July - check was rec'd on Aug 21st (we'll get paid next check)

There's bunches of these blank columns it doesn't say "piad on such and such date" and doesn't say "awaiting payment" - they're just blank columns

I called LS and they said they are aware - it's a "backend glitch"

So... SA is - as always - not working

and I - as always - have no idea which merchants will be on tomorrows check
