Hello,

I have spoken to only one Rhode Island affiliate since this law was passed. Actually the week the law passed in 2009.

I have tried using Google to find other affiliates in my state. I have not found affiliates nor hear of anyone ever trying to speak to lawmakers here.

Rhode Island has already stated the Amazon Tax was a mistake. Also, it has not generated any money from this mistake, that nobody seems to care about changing.

If you are an Affiliate in Rhode Island... do u have new info about this. I cannot find anything online.

I am at the point of making some Major changes either staying to finish a Degree or just jumping ship to a taxfree state like New Hampshire- maybe both :P.

I know RI has wanted to repeal the law, but last I heard the hearing was canceled and never rescheduled.

My problem is I don't even know where to begin to look to talk to someone about this topic and why it should be changed.

My affiliate based business model brought a lot of money and has paid much of it to the state. Now they no longer get that because of their silly law, talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

Since the law passed I've been declined new contracts and no longer can grow the business.

Any information from anyone would be appreciated.
