The Google Grinch has stolen my Christmas. The update is reporting ZERO links to my site, and while I'm still in the index for all practical purposes I'm nowhere to be found. This is disappointing, because this was the update in which I'd hoped I'd be starting to see some positive effects from my recent new Yahoo listing. Apparently not.
All I can say is BLEAH!

I notice that the front page at that URL says Google English. Is that the UK version?
Is it the same index worldwide?
Update, I checked through the All Google Tool at http://google.fergusons.dk/ and I am indeed seeing changes in www2.google! Only checked one term so far, though...
By the way,

When I type allinurl:mysite.com , I have 1200+ pages indexed in www2 but when I type link: http://www.mysite.com I find zero link pointing to my site
I can't find my pages on many search terms and also hundreds of my listins don't have descriptions. What's wrong with Google?. I am going to scream and cry!

As was pointed out, it looks like Google is updating, or doing something... I'm now seeing the Deep Crawl pages the Little Guy did this month in our results...
Have to assess the other damages, if any.
Somebody better tell Jada.

Hmmmm! I lost a lot of pages. A couple that were in the top 5 for good keywords. My main one stayed about the same so far. A page I was really counting on is burried deep. <IMG src=http://www.abestweb.com/ubb/icons/icon36.gif> My site is still down. I hope it doesn't crawl before before posting to Google 1.

Elisabeth:
I was curious and so ran a search for your links. There are 71 listed on this string:
allinurl: www.buckworks.com

Question...We're nowhere to be seen in www2.google (although we're still in the index, just not anywhere to be seen) but everywhere in www3.google Anybody know which of these will be the final google?

The searches link: www.buckworks.com or link:buckworks.com report zero links. There were over a hundred listed last time, and I have gained some quality new links lately, including my Yahoo listing.
But none of this is showing, and my rankings are in the cellar.
Even worse, when I was trying different search terms to survey the damage, I discovered a page-jacking - someone has copied a page that used to have front page ranking in Google, and the stolen copy is ranking higher than the real page!
Bleah!

www3 (if you can access it) seems to still have the Old Index. It will fluctuate in and out for a day or so.
www2 has a lot more references etc., than www3 has, and has more current information.
www2 will 'probably' be the Final Index, but it's still undergoing changes.

I just noticed that the new index was just replaced with the old, then back again. Elisabeth, I wouldn't put a gun to yer head yet, if I were you. Google has what I would describe as "acid reflux" when they consume so much (all them pages). It will take some sifting and at least a couple of days to see the final version of this update. Those of you who got first page listings, congrats. Don't get too excited, yet. I know as of now, that Google hasn't finished sufting, or I have been black listed at Google - I don't even come up on the first three pages for "the coupon guy"; woe is me.

Chuck,
Have you tried this?

I am in the same situation as you and never experienced this. What possibly caused this?.

We are happy to report it looks like google has finally decided to become part of our web family. After months of showing only index page at WW on our @home web addy things have finally changed. AAm trying to put 2 + 2 together We had to move our site to shaw.ca cuz of @home problems, we started a ppc campaign on my other income driven, (well hopefully gonna make some money)sites. In www2 today google has now indexed a whole pile of the WW site and lots of the gone south credit site. Was it because of tweaking till we couldn't keep our eyes open to tweak more, or just they didnt like the @home web addy? One day this whole process may may sense.
This may explain a bit of odd traffic past few days of visitors going to different pages instead of just index.
I guess I can now start getting excited each month about new google dances. Up till now google has always been a dud.
$$$ must soon follow I reckon LOL Think I may have to go treat the kids to rotten ronnys or or burger king or somethin now.

What is changing in the algorithm or in the listings that are included? We have also slipped on some of our listings. Why? Do we all of a sudden have that many new competitors who are better at SE placement than us, or is Google including results from somewhere else?
