for me anyway. I put up a new site last night about 7pm. Google stopped by this morning about 5am. I got a hit from a Google search (key phrase ranked 9) at 6pm tonight.

Hey wyvern congrats on the quick google bot visit, pretty soon you will see them within 10 minutes after you get a site online :0)  Keep on working and treaking those pages.

i have been seeing the same thing and i thought it was bc of my 6pagerank. but its the same with my lower page rank sites. i like this continual(sp) updating!!

With the new search engines coming out it will be a great benefit to affiliates because they are all competing for those fresh relevant results. To be competitive they will need more frequent updates.
This year should be an interesting year in SE marketing.

Talk about records...
I put a new site online on late Wednesday night. Last night I went to the site to put some LE's up and seen it already had a PR 2. I have never seen nothing like that before

I have seen just the opposite and actually came here to post on it.
I put up a site in late Feb. and linked to it from a site that gets crawled regularly. Google has come by about 3 times and it just made it to googles search results with a 0/10 last week.
This is also the case for 2 other sites that have gone up in the last month or so. I show back links with the dance tool... but only recently showed in the results.
To see if it was in the index I had to do a allinurl: and find that only 1 page at each site has been crawled. The first site has over 600 pages to crawl.
I guess sometimes you just gotta wait a while longer.
