So I opened up my blog homepage a few minutes ago, and scared the crap out of myself.
When did Google start to allow sounds to autoplay through their image ads?
I was not pleased.

At the very least, I guess I'll have to change my Audio Privacy Policy.

I have not heard of this but I don't allow image ads on my site but thanks for the warning.
Soon when you are about to click away, the voice will say "Wait! are you sure?"

I never have liked sites that automatically play music, all the way back to the geocities sites playing midi-files in the mid 90's up through the most modern flash presentations. Reminds me of musical birthday cards.

I've had some image ads that did the same thing. I mainly use text ads though now, as I feel the payout is slightly higher.

I have never seen such an AD on my sites but I will watch for it and will remove that advertiser using 'Competitive Ad Filter' option.
