Was just now noticing some new traffic, another update

http://www.ysearchblog.com/

And someone was asking how often they update:

http://www.webmasterworld.com/yahoo_search/3397608.htm

Someone said:

"Based on my recent experience, Yahoo weather reports announcing update come every six weeks or so."

And they were right on, last one (first post) June 6th, now July19/20, about 6 weeks.

You're an optimistic one...

Personally I'll wait to see how the SERPs end up before I decide whether such a thing (and its timing) is good, or the work of some sadistic beast!

I'm convinced Yahoo favors older sites.

One site is seeing a slight boost from Yahoo while my main site has been increasing steadily all year at Yahoo. Nice to see they finally recognize quality.

Yes, Yahoo is recognizing quality quite well now and has been for most of the year.
