Hi, thanks for the heads up! Maybe Yahoo is trying to weed out the dead sites this way. Perhaps why my traffic dropped off the last few days... not sure. Anyway, it can't hurt to get my site "authenticated"...
My site is about 2,000 pages, a PR3, almost NO Google traffic of course... so Yahoo and MSN are the visitors clicking on the Adsense... oh the irony of it all... Thanks again!

Uh... OK... What's the advantage to having Yahoo authenticate your site? Is this something worth doing?

I have zero idea if it is worthwhile or not, but on the outside chance that it might help my Yahoo SERPS positions, I went thru the process. Guess we will see later any results of the "authentication".

I added my site to it a while ago, but it hasn't made any difference. I still don't get much traffic from yahoo.

That's the way I see it. I thought I had missed the authentication a while back, and was just seeing it now (turns out it's new).
I tell you, at the rate Yahoo is spidering my sites, it'll be forever before I'm fully indexed.

I don't know what it is with me and Yahoo, but I've never had any luck with them. I'm not seeing any changes right now, so I guess my no-luck streak is continuing.

In the authentication form it states that Yahoo will notify once we go thru the process. I have never received any notification as yet... Since it is virtually impossible to get Google traffic unless you Pay per Click, and MSN also plays Greta Garbo, unless you pay.. most of my traffic comes inevitably from Yahoo...
