When I changed to Mac last April, I bought a printer from the same manufacturer that made my PC printer. However, the new printer was a complete lemon. The manufacturer stopped supporting it and because I'd had the printer less than 8 months, I complained.
That got results - I got a rebate approval for about half the cost of the printer. However, since I have to buy a new one, I have a question. Instead of getting a plain printer, I would like to get a multi-function.
Does anyone know of a decent multifunction for the Mac? I need one under $500. I need the flat screen for scanning, and enlarge/reduce would be a plus. Color printing and scanning. The speed isn't so important. Cost of operation under $0.15/copy would be nice. And a service cycle of over 100 sheets a month is helpful.
Yeah, not asking much, but need what I need.

I just bought an Epson Stylus Photo RX595 and I'm very, very happy with it. I have no idea what the cost per copy is though.Daniel M. Clark
