# 7 day epc vs 7 day commission??

1. 7 day epc vs 7 day commission??
I look at this one merchant and it says \$28.16 EPC and yet the 7 day commission is \$4

Not sure i follow that.. I gathered that epc was for on average every 100 clicks across the board affiliates have made around \$28 in commission..

yet from what i can see here the 7 day commission is actually only \$4

can you clarify?

2. "I look at this one merchant and it says \$28.16 EPC and yet the 7 day commission is \$4"

That means, on average, affiliates are getting 7 sales per 100 clicks. 7 (sales) x \$4 (average commission) = \$28+ EPC

3. Not sure that makes sense as....i see another one that is

7 day epc is \$219.74

7 Day commission is \$32.67

32.67 x 7 = 228

Then there is the 30 day

30 day EPC is \$191.02

30 day commission is \$32.51

\$32.51 x 7 = \$227.57

Is it all just an estimate

What do you tend to look at with a merchant there 7 or 30 day?
Do you look at EPC or commission?

4. A reversal here and there could affect those numbers but for the most part, that's how it works.

With a merchant at SAS. First I check to be sure they actually exist. Then I check to see if they're on Auto Deposit, only merchants I will even look at. I do look at the EPC and if they have \$0, I'm just not willing to take a chance. I look at last commissionable transaction. I take a look at their site. I look at uptime history. I try to look at all the available information available and then make a judgement.

The one you just posted, based solely on the EPC, looks good. Looks like somebody is doing well with them.

"- an EPC above \$0.00
- auto-deposit
- solid creative/newsletters, etc (good indicators of affiliate manager involvement)"

Couple of the same things and the creative/newsletters is a good point as well.

Where do you locate

last commissionable transaction and uptime history?

6. When you click on View Merchant, it'll have -
Last Commissionable Transaction through Affiliate: with that info

and there is a Program Uptime History link to click to get that info.
