I have been dissapointed by cjs lack of sales this month.
My other programs I go with for about 25% of my links have generated 80% + of sales this month.
I have no clue for the rhyme or reason for this months sales

It was so cold last winter that I saw a lawyer with his hands in his own pockets.

Sales the last two days are terrible. Todd must have turned of the wrong switch when he went to CJU. The entire month is down also. Of course, they did some "improvements" to the site and whenever that happens, sales seem to drop. It's a hard one to figure out.

I've had sales -- my usual mix of medium and small -- for the last 4 days. Nothing unusual here.

I have been getting a few sales, but with record high clickthrough - not enough. My EPC this month has halved. All of this when Performics, Linkshare & Befree are going through the roof with me. My Linkshare income this month is currently SIX times higher than last month, and Performics is currently DOUBLE that from last month. CJ is just over HALF of last month. BeFree is running at about THREE times higher than last month (difficult to say exactly as I always lumped them in with "other" in my spreadsheet before this month.

MY CJ merchant sales are at their all time lowest level in 4 years. Couldn't even help with more exposure for parasite free JC Whitney or BackCountry Stores. I sure do have a lot of CJ merchants on those parasite lists so that might be the cause for those normal producers.

I do notice all me e-mails to CJ merchants on the parasite lists no longer get responded too ....They must be content to throw all commissions into a few "Trick-n-Treat loot bags only.

Any traffic that went through parasites last month, well, merchants have cookie durations, so, am I thinking that we would show lower sales for a month or two, because, they make money off of that traffic for a month instead of us?

I've got decent sales, but not what I think it should be.

Well, CJ better get on the ball and figure out what is going on. I'm currently putting my independent merchants more prominently on my pages because CJ is just not cutting it this month.

Just like search engines, I have to rank my merchants.

Me too, independant programs and actual product sites are beginning to account for the bulk of my income. Networks are playing a decreasing role as far as my income goes. There's some good merchants in the networks, I'll never write them out. But independants and smaller networks such as www.shareasale.com should experience a boom from all of this controversy, as more and more affiliates try to find merchants that do not belong to predatory programs.

It would be nice if we could get a little clearer statement from CJ about all this. I'm sure they see the handwriting on the wall...we affiliates are not dummies and will run our affiliate marketing programs like professionals with companies that we trust.

We are also facing the same problem.
Sales are not coming through.
Sales are very less and very slow.

CJ! Please look into this ASAP.

Problem is probably two fold. First, CJ implements new changes this month (still trying to figure out what they are), then site crashes as usual after update. Second, everyone at CJ must be at CJU this week, or were so busy planning for it they forgot to monitor tracking and sales at the home office.

Some seriousness here, some kidding, but still, something is not right and we here are all feeling it and feeling ignored. Same old story, sorry for bringing it up again.

Sales are down 67% since the "update." Sales are 1/10th of what they were in the first two weeks of this month. Traffic is 116% of what it was over the same period.

Maybe someone tripped on the plug when they all left for CJU, and nobody has noticed because eBates has yet to complain.

My sales for the month of October have been down almost 70% compared to the last six months average. And like some of you, I am getting sales from other networks even though CJ accounts for 70% of my impressions.

Two merchants of which both have been quick to respond to e-mail's from me in the past, are not answering e-mails I sent over 48 hours ago in which I mentioned "parasiteware" could be the cause of this unusual sales slump.

Just plain weird!

I wonder if it is called CJ?
Seeing as they don't care about us,
they give an award to one of the biggest parasites of all,
They have no concept of honesty and ethics,
yes, the new one must be CJ.

Not one sale for three days now !!! this stinks and you don't give a cr*p.

I rarely post there is something up with CJ ... But I have to speak up.

I made more in the day before the "upgrade' then the four days after..

I made my concerns to CJ ..both email and voice ... no response

My thoughts exactly Gordon.
It would be easy for them to fiddle I am sure. I think they have made a huge mistake keeping the likes of eBates. More and more regular affiliates earning say $1000 - $5000 per month will find private alternatives. When CJ gets into the deep and smelly as their own profits decline, eBates will dump them and CJ will RIP

Sales are really on the skids here too, and falling, even though they should be climbing for the holiday season already. My commissions have fallen 60% in six months, despite agressive efforts to prop them up.

I don't have all the answers, but recently I think the Beltway snipers have had everyone glued to their TV sets rather than surfing.

The delayed effects of 9-11 are also working through the US economy.

Also, the economy sucks and rich people are now poor thanks to the trashing of the stock market, so they are keeping their purses zippered up. And all those people who don't have jobs are not big spenders.

Oil prices are still up, despite a down economy, causing more of a drain on people's disposable income.

I'm also shifting my strategy more toward independent programs, because I'm not real happy about privacy issues and parasite hugging at the networks.

The networks can skim 1/3 of the transaction in an up economy but it's too much in a down economy IMHO. I think there will be casualites among the affiliate program networks.

CJ, for one, has demostrated they can't keep their program servers up. While skimming 1/3 of the transaction, you would think they can afford redundancy. Their many recent outages signal more of a financial struggle than a technical struggle.

Sorry guys but I have had record CJ sales for each day in the last 3 days. As far as CJ or the other networks skimming a 1/3 of the transactions doesn't make any sense as they would be losing 1/3 of "their" sales commissions as well. That conspiracy theory will never fly IMO.
