    Brand awareness
I hate the word "branding" and anything associated with it but I just took this fun test http://www.cramersweeney.com/smartmarketing.html

    I scored a 16 out of 20

    1 better.

BMW hates me though, as I got both of theirs wrong

Which is a very interesting commentary. How tough do you think it is to establish brand in the luxury space? All of those car companies are going after the EXACT same image, for the most part.

I don't envy their ad agencies...

That was the 3rd I missed. Ghostbusters ruined that one for me I think.

For thirty years I thought he was called the Pillsbury Dough Boy. I've heard the phrase Poppin' Fresh, but never in the context of his name that I can recall. Sorry if I'm skewing the results for anyone, I'm just stunned is all.

I think maybe all the luxury car dealers think alike inside the box. All the same commercials yada yada yada

Although I enjoy the "hard drive" cadillac commercials but why is there always just one person in the car in the comercial.

Sounds to like like they should do some rebranding at Pillsbury

18/20 and one of them I knew and just clicked the wrong name. The other I should have known I'm not saying anything else cause I don't want to mess it up for people that haven't tried it yet.

The Poppin Fresh one is a little iffy:

Poppin' Fresh, the Pillsbury Doughboy, is an advertising icon and mascot of The Pillsbury Company, appearing in many of their commercials.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pillsbury_Doughboy

So Poppin Fresh is the name of it but I think most people use Pillsbury Doughboy, which I think is correct too.

It says I've been "eating my Wheaties" at 18 for 20.

Cool, eh? But what are Wheaties?

I worked for Pillsbury b4 it became part of General Mills, everyone in corporate called it The Pillsbury Doughboy.
I never heard it as Poppin Fresh.

Maybe the name was rebranded with the companies merger into General Mills.

I just got 17 out of 20. Maybe I watched too much TV growing up. I had problems with the "play" icon.

Now I think we've learned an important lesson here, don't create brand ambiguity.

    19 out of 20!

I am an AD Junkie, but I never thought I paid much attention to what was being advertised. I guess I was.

I still say that was the PILLSBURY DOUGHBOY!
