January 22nd, 2008, 03:37 AM #1Need advice to post ads on free adsites
Some of the free ad-sites do not allow for posting the Banners ads or the Text
ads in their sites.I am facing problems as affiliate of CJ to post the ads of the
various merchants. The CJ do not have affiliate URLs which can be easily posted?
Or do they give only the Banners and the Text links ?
Any helpful suggestions from the veterans will be much appreciated.

My advice: Don't waste your time.
First, if you're trying to post affiliate links on free ad sites, most networks prohibit that. You can only post your affiliate links on YOUR OWN sites.
Second, traffic from those free ad sites is totally worthless (or nonexistent).
Third, if you're counting on getting PageRank from those sites, it'll probably do you more harm than good.
Concentrate on building something that people will come back to and tell friends about. Don't worry about the links. If you build something good enough, you'll get far better links without having to resort to these types of tactics.

Thanks for your prompt advice. What one has to do if he does not have his own
website? Is it advisable to make use of the free websites or the blogs.
Is it absolutely essential to own a website for the purpose ?

And article marketing...
Start writing articles about stuff you know about that you can monetize. Put them on EzineArticles.com and the others like that. Then use the articles to build your own sites and landing pages for your PPC campaigns. If you create useful information someone will find it. Just be sure you know how to make money from it.
