To those of you that utilize Google Analytics, I have a few questions.
1. With Google Analytics, is there a way to do a monthly data dump that would allow one to keep that data in their own DB? (not so much a scheduled report; I'm looking to get everything)
2. Does having Urchin/ga.js running on a server mean that you're the owner of that data and the Urchin software simply organizes and displays it, or is it simply a better means of porting your data into a Google Analytics online interface?
Basically, I'm just looking at some way that we can be less reliant on third parties for historical tracking information (but without building an entire analytics solution from scratch) and I'm unclear on the differences between Urchin and Google Analytics.
Thanks for any and all help!
