    Exclamation Limelight Networks
Anyone know anything about Limelight Networks out of Tempe Arizona? My stat-counters show this company on 4 of my websites constanly for about a week now. There is no rhyme or reason to what pages they visit just jumping all over the site. Their IP address is 208.111.154.89.

They're a content delivery network, like Akamai. I actually just started looking into them today to distribute my static content to take some of the bandwidth off my servers.

However, I don't know why they'd be all over your sites. Like I said, I just started looking at CDNs today.

That IP address resolves to v89.nat.svl.kavam.net..."kavam" is the former name of a search engine company called Searchme. So my guess is that your sites were just being crawled by a spider.

They have a website and I sent an e-mail asking why they were on my site. I received no response and therefore banned their IP from my sites.

I see them using quite a few IP addys.

They're not sucking too much bandwidth yet so I'll wait.
