Taking a moment to complain about the weather.
It's cold. 2 degrees. With a wind chill of -20. My garage door was frozen shut today. And several people were late to work because their car doors were frozen shut.

We've had a very mild winter in eastern upstate New York. This is our third mild winter in a row. I'm so grateful!

However this morning it started out raining, in the low 40s, transitioned to freezing rain, then sleet, and now it's snowing. Can't complain though. The worst I've seen it here is -15 on the thermometer and -50 with the wind chill.

You guys out west stay warm!

It's in the upper 44 degrees here in Greater DC now, and they are forecasting upper 40's - lower 50's in the next few days.

Yes, stay warm there in IN an WI!!

47 here and going to 58

But, as an old Golden Domer, I remember walking to class in South Bend in the winter.

It was 50 last night when I brought in the flag & secured the porch furniture. Woke up to all schools closed and 30 degrees cooler. The commute to work was ok - walking up 2 flights of stairs to my home-office. But when the wind really blows, my office shakes, the monitors shake, and if my coffee is filled all the way to the top, it would spill over.

Yesterday it was 35 or 40F during the day.
Then the wind blew HARD all night, and chased all the unfreezing weather away!

    Now it's 14 with a windchill of -6.

So isn't Affiliate Marketing the "job you can do anywhere?" Why aren't you folks down here in Florida and away from all that cold?

You can always go back up north in the summer!

Speaking of cold.... it was -45.4 degrees Fahrenheit here this morning (Western Canada).... no wind chill factor involved.

At this temperature, if you throw a cup of hot water up into the air, it doesn't hit the ground as water, but rather it transforms into ice crystals and mostly hangs there like a fog. (Yeah I tried it)

I can't imagine what someone would charge if your heater went out up there!
That is insane! I like tank tops and flips flops in the winter!

Beautiful the past few days in Myrtle Beach SC. Took the dog for a nice long walk and actually broke a nice sweat then got home and opened the windows for fresh air. A little rain tomorrow but weather man says a nice weekend ahead.

Well, I can tell you what that feels like... Our furnace stopped working on Dec 26 a few winters ago. It cost a few hundred dollars to repair it.

But at least the furnace problem was fixed on the same day. I also experienced the ice storm of '98, which toppled electricity towers like dominoes. In our area, we lost power for a couple days and that meant no heat at all...so we ended up staying with friends during that time.

Every year I try to like winter, but I haven't quite come around to it yet.

spent the whole day out on my buddy's boat fishing and drinking cold beers.
