I'd like to say...."Stop spamming this forum".

Hmmmm, I'm a moderator, I guess I can actually say that.

Let's see a little more content here regarding affiliate marketing and a lot less attempts to get PM privileges, okay?

Ron (7-days) has a great point, richguy. Helpful content is highly appreciated at ABW, while useless posts are really seldomly tolerated.

For further clarification, your posts haven't been banned - you've been given ban warnings.

This is a business forum, and while we also enjoy our social threads, it is not a good sign seeing a newbie going on a posting rampage with all off topic threads. Make Sense?

So who thinks some of these blogging "affiliate gurus" lie about their earnings in order to get a greater blog audience?

Hmmmm.... I haven't had a Fuddrucker burger in years! That sounds so good.
They closed the the Fuddruckers that we had around here.

Have you tried 5 Guys burgers? They are the best burger place I have ever been to.

I dont think they lie. At least most "real guru" don't. ShoeMoney shows you his Google check. Most don't disclose everything and it's the problem. How much did they spent to get that result? and, are they still making money. Many earnings are one time shot. The hard part is to last.
Now, with PPC you can be a "Super Affiliate" in no time and classified as a "guru". But how much money do you keep in your pocket?

I just got telephone call from an ABW member that said that like 95 % of all affiliates make like 500 USD/ mo NET so I am not sure.

I guess you'd need like 100 websites making the 500 USD/mo steady going to be able to actually make a living at this. He pointed out to me that not one of the affiliates like to admit it, so I can't imagine a David Copperfield Affiliate would ever post his day to day earnings on a 12 mo. recurring basis ~ Right ?

Right now I'd be happy if I could just get some people to answer my emails. Sometimes I guess it is tough being small. I suppose if this guy posted the truth, he would just get ignored. Maybe that's not very Christian of people, but I guess that is sometimes how it plays.

Somewhere in there I'd say is your answer.

I would email an earnings stub from my CJ check if it made a difference to you. Last month was over $2000. Not bad. Definitely not all I had though when you look at all of the different networks. Yeah...I still do it the old fashioned way. Snail mail check. I just feels better then the DD I have with some of the others.

You will find many people will either not discuss what they make (like many professions) or they will tell you a dollar amount without them backing it up. Be wary of the latter. As the saying goes, "Show me the money!"

My email is posted in my profile, I would be more than happy to take a look at it. Be sure to delete any sensitive info that is not pertenant to the issue at hand.

Please be aware that while I did in fact say I am willing to look at your stubs, that still does not give me a clear picture of the earnings most {95%} affiliates. A compass would be great.

Also, you are correct, there should be a certain amount of scepticism in people bragging about they bloated earnings.

Thank you sfcom. Very cool comments indeed...
