"Christmas messages" in February (merchant sites)

As I'm updating some of my PopShops, weeding out merchants who have "stale" datafeeds (out-of-stock or 404), I'm encountering a surprising problem:
Merchants who don't remove "Christmas delivery" messages from their pages.
It's February, and some merchants still have boilerplate language alerting customers about Christmas-delivery cutoffs and expedited shipping options.
As a consumer, it makes me wonder if the merchant is even still in business, if they haven't updated their site in the past 5 weeks. As an affiliate, I am inclined to skip the merchant's products, since I expect a lower conversion rate.

Wow. There really is no excuse for this. If you wish to sell online, you must look at your calendar every once in a while.
