    SAS cookies---Return Days
If I may ask a question for once...

What field represents the return days in the SAS cookies?

    __utmz

is my guess, but I need to know for sure.

If this has been previously discussed in detail, please point me to a thread on it. Of course I searched...

    Thanks.

utmz is tracking Google uses for analytics and adwords/adsense, not the one you're looking for.

the sas cookie segment for return days is labelled "RETURNDAYSXXXX" where X is the 4 or 5 digit merchant id. the sas cookie segment for time of day on the return day ending period is labelled "RETURNDAYSTIMEXXXX" where X is the 4 or 5 digit merchant id.

i'm thinking you'd have tripped across these fairly easily if you had a decent cookie viewer... try this free one:

I was using Karen's here. Can you set the IE one to show Mozilla cookies also?

You know, something definitely didn't look right.

Using Karen's above, I was only able to see the client side fields and not the server side ones as in your recommended app. Therefore I only had 3 to choose from.

I was doing a search marketing campaign for the merchant and my blood was starting to boil when I saw no return days field. I was thinking, "Damn, no wonder my sales aren't tracking." In this case I had a couple of quick sales via search marketing, but none for the past little while and some good money spent. I thought something was up w/ the cookie. Your app showed me this wasn't the case.

I can now at least erase one thing from the list.

    Thanks for the help Donuts.
