    I think dozens of affiliate diets are on the verge of total collapse after viewing this thread...

    I have a good place to stick one of those widgets. I'll grab one tonight. Thanks, Geno!

    I hand-picked each cake, mousse and pie here. Those who think that affiliate manager's role is easy can now understand how an AM can easily die from salivation alone.

    Gary, our next objective is to figure out how to get free samples.

    We often hear affiliates report that this or that merchant needs better product images. I am glad that GourmetStation has them done the way they should be.

    I just noticed this. What's up with the links page leak, especially the one that goes to: All The Food-Local & National Restaurant Listings, some featuring gourmet delivery.

    I've searched around, and couldn't find a link to the "links page". It is obviously not too obvious of a "leak". Could you please describe where exactly you've found the link to it?

    Thanks.

    Ah! Found it under Conceirge > Gourmet Links.

    Will ask the merchant about this section. It is unlikely that they remove it altogether, but maybe make the link to less prominent.

    Ok, PWA, here's an update for you:

    I spoke with the merchant, and they assured me that the Links page gets very insignificant traffic. I have requested for the exact numbers from their Google Analytics reports, and here's what she just wrote:

    ================
    Yes, I just did a quick analysis from Dec. 1, 2007 to Feb. 19, 2008. During an 81 day analysis period, the page received 38 clicks representing .46 visitors per day. In relation to all pages / all clicks these 38 clicks represented .001%.
    ================

    Hope this helps.

    I do not believe it is something to worry about. Most merchants have these pages, and this one is tucked into the website quite thoroughly not to be of any substantial threat to the affiliate traffic.
