    Do doorway pages work?
I have heard that manually created entry pages work well in the search engines. Had anyone tried this?

I try to give people the benefit of the doubt but what's up with all the questions?? And I'm not just talking about on this forum.

Someone told him that he could get rich by selling an eBook and one of the methods he was told was to participate in forums where affiliates and other online-type people hang out. He was probably also told that spamming was bad, so he just put his sell-site in his profile, hoping that people would check him out and get sucked into buying the book.

    Am I getting warmer, Andrew?

Call me cynical, but that's exactly what this looks like. I just think it's hysterical that he sells an eBook about making money with Google, but then comes here and asks the most basic questions about making money with Google

Amazing to me what apparently ISN'T in that ebook of Andrew's -- yet for only $37, it'll teach you all the Google ranking secrets.

    Wow.

If anyone who is not an expert or part time detective reads this - I have a few what would be considered doorway pages on my site for different services we offer, to localize the services in the cities that are around us in our target area and they seem to work pretty well...

Not sure you would want 100's of them or anything but we have three for each of our key services that are pumped full of the name of the 3 main cities we market to.
