OK, books, films now songs. We should put the most frequent suggestions of each to a poll and come out with definitive answers (at least amongst ABW).

For me in no particular order:
Whiter Shade of Pale - Procol Harem
Hound Dog - Elvis Presley
Sympathy for the Devil - Rolling Stones
She - Elvis Costello
Paradise by the Dashboard Light - Meatloaf

"Purina hall of fame" by Propagandhi (canadian band). It has powerful lyrics and my favorite guitar solo ever.

I am pretty diversified with my listening, including some rap. The heavy metal days was definitely my anti-social rebelious teen and young adult years . I got into lyrics, more so than I did the instrumental parts.

The Song that I always get a goose bumps and almost tears in my eyes that I think it should be a national anthem of the America.

Except I can't think of the name of it. bummer!

anyone know it? it goes like this:

We are the champion of the world, we are the champion, we are the champion of the world!

Co'z we keep on fighting till the end and we are the champion of the world...

Sorry can't think of the name.

But I think it's one of the best song I've heard

Also the song "ANAK" (philippine song).

Queen - We are the champions.

The song that gives me goosebumps when I hear it is ThunderStruck by ACDC. Was great in concert. Saw them a few years back on valentines day. I must say the little gf wasn't to please about it.

Anything Aerosmith gives me goosebumps. Ok, so it is really when Joe Perry takes his shirt off in concert that the goosebumps start..but the music is good too!
My favorite song by Aerosmith is "Pink"
"Pink, I wanna be your flamingo..."

"I ****** yer didn't I?"

They turned political incorrectness into a true art form.

Glad to see we have a couple of AC/DC fans here. Went to a gig a couple of years ago. At the beginning I was remarking how old they looked. Then two hours later Angus was still dancing around like a teenager, and I was complaining that my back hurt from standing so long.

Favorite song:

So Long Marianne - Leonard Cohen

Lenny is the man:

Interviewer: Thanks for talking with us today, how're you doing?
Cohen: Imagine a raging torrent. In the middle of the river there's a man desperately clutching to a tree branch, to stop himself being swept away by the floodwaters. That's how I feel.

Not a man to take questions lightly.

Honestly, I must say I'm disappointed. A Jersey boy who doesn't list The Boss, Bon Jovi or Southside Johnny at least once?
It's a sad day for the Garden State.

I don't really care for the "Boss" all that much, a couple songs are pretty good though. BonJovi is good, as is Southside, just can't think of any particular songs at the moment. BTW Karl, you have a Webcam behind my shoulder? being that you posted before I did?
