February 13th, 2008, 11:48 AM #1Sloppy OrangeLinks
OrangeLinks could be so much better if merchants would put more care into them. Some examples of slop from todays push:
- Link Name "Orange Links Offer"
- Exact duplicates.
- Link Name "LightingCatalog Text Ad"
- Link Name "Orange Links Sale Offer #1"
- End Date in the wrong column looks like no end date.
- No end date anywhere.
Life is too short for affiliates to have to correct the mistakes of multiple merchants. I just put them up as they come usually.

I have quit using the orange links due to time it was taking to sort. Now just use the emails sent out.

While we're on the subject: What in the world are Orange Links, and how do you use them?
I've signed up and been accepted by several Performics merchants, but I've never been able to figure them out well enough to use their Orange Links function.
I have taken time to go through the help files at Performics and the more I look around there, the more confused I become??Generate more fake news.

You get set up on your server with an ftp account for Performics. They send an .xsl file to your server each day that one of your merchants adds links to the OrangeLink setup at Performics.
It has a lot of potential but requires support of the merchants to use it correctly and often.
