Some Good Savings on food at Vegas
Just wanted to share with you all that there is a coupon on Restaurant.com for a little restaurant in the Rio. With Restaurant.com coupon right now too, code VOTE, a 25.00 cert is only 5.00 and a 10.00 cert is only 1.50. The restaurant is Lucky Strike, its attached to the bowling alley, but it looks pretty decent and you can't beat the price. There are also other coupons for various parts of the Vegas strip and downtown if you plan on doing any sightseeing before or after the Summit.

Great suggestion, although I'm not sure I've ever had bowling alley food that I would consider "pretty decent". I did find certificates for 3 other restaurants that I was interested in going to, including 1 that I had already scheduled.

Do you mind sharing which ones? I was looking through all of them as well and was trying to figure out which ones might be close. We're going a few days early and staying at Harrah's to enjoy "strip life" before we head to the Rio. And we plan on going Downtown at least one day of it.

ENVY Steakhouse, Original Pancake House, and Little Buddha are the three I bought.

Close wasn't really a consideration to me, since I had a rental car.

I lived by a lucky strike in Chicago that was also a bowling alley and the food was pretty darn good. Don't know if they are the same.

    Lucky Strike Chain
I have been to the one I Nyack, NY and seen the one in Las Vegas (Rio) they are the same. Young girls in VERY short skirts, the girls try to make them longer (Actually pulling on the skirts as they walk around feeling uncomfortable). I felt embarrassed for them and thought how much do they need a job to work in those conditions. I never went back, "voting with my dollars" to shut the place down.

I'm sure in Vegas the short skirts will NOT be a problem, after all in Lucky Strike the girls do get to keep their tops ON.

The 50% off coupon from the original post expired, but there's a new one ("EXTRA") for an extra 60% off. That makes $25 gift certificates $4 and $10 gift certificates $1.20.

Something that should have been pointed out before, for those unfamiliar with Restaurant.com gift certificates, is that they're really more like a coupon than a gift certificate. There's a slew of restrictions, requiring at least two people, usually a $40 or $50 minimum purchase, etc. It's usually a great deal, despite the restrictions, but make sure to read the fine print.
