    Being IP banned?
Okay, anyone that read the post about brutal women, you'll know what this is in reference to.

I *think* I may have been IP banned. When I try to log on, I can sometimes see the very main page of the site, but not get into the forum section. It just goes completely white, and it's been two days. My girlfriend is getting in with no problem, and my husband was able to log in from work with no problem.

So I guess I'm curious. What does an IP ban look like? Is that a feasible assumption here? I've never done anything where I would get banned, so this is new to me.

    Thanks,

    ~Lisa

All depends on how they ip ban you (firewall, software or other) and the underlying forum software but this sounds about right.

I wish I had done something really interesting to deserve it, but I don't think I did. It is either this silly "I have an opinion...." thing, or because I had a link in my sig for my blog, which announced my little forum (my blog, not the link in my sig). These are the only things I could possibly be guilty of. ANd either way, don't you usually notify a person of a ban unless it is inexcusable and requires no explanation?

    Oh...? Do tell! Thanks, Haiko.
