    Keeping Track of them all!
I've created a Niche coupon code site that targets a specific demographic, however I'm running into a problem with keeping up with all the coupons offered by merchants, when they expire, when new ones are issued etc.

Is there an easy way to track this via a script or software?
Also does anyone use a "Coupon Feed"?

Thanks for all the help and I'm very excited to be a member here as opposed to a guest simply reading!

How about some feedback on Techniques people are using to track when coupons expire, etc? Excel sheets? What are some best practices?

    Hi Michael,

Have you tried formetocoupon.com? I don't see any testimonials, etc.

I'm pretty green to how it works. How do you get your specific tracking codes to mesh with the script?
Right now I just cut and paste my links into my site. Very cumbersome. I don't even know how to cloak them; I've noticed the most popular coupon sites and ones I've frequented have the affilate links appear as an internal link. How is this done?

    Hi CustomersFirst,

We handle sales for ForMeToCoupon, so I am happy to answer any questions you have. When you have an account you enter your IDs so the links you get are formatted for you.

The "cloaking" you are referring to is, I believe, also known as a server-side redirect and is considered an SEO best practice, along with a no-follow tag. You can do this with Apache. I'd try searching ABW and the internet for info on this.

Back to FMTC - please ping me and I'd be happy to set you up with a free trial. (We aren't sure that the current users care to be identified so we haven't posted any testimonials yet.)

    Hi Brooks,

Do you have any examples and a list of merchants that are participating? Do you happen to have a site I could see the feed on?

The initial rate will be $1,195 per month. We are looking at offering both a higher tier of service as well as a la carte offerings.

You can see the list of merchants by logging in. We don't currently have sample sites as we haven't discussed revealing the identity of subscribers with said subscribers. But if you look a few posts above you'll find one site you can check out...
