March 4th, 2008, 12:08 AM #1Lung Cancer
As you may or maynot know, I have lost a friend to lung cancer. He was only 36 years old. I am creating a poster for the chris connor foundation.
Let me know what you think
Check out his music

I like it with two suggestions - first, either the chair is too small or he's too big; the scale is slightly off and it doesn't look like he's really sitting in it. Second, it doesn't have any kind of message regarding the cause of death. I wouldn't smack people over the head with it, but it seems lacking without it.
The photography is great, though! Really nails the mood.Daniel M. Clark

100% better. I'd consider right-aligning the bottom text, to give the name/dates box some space, but that's a small point on an otherwise great poster. Well done!
And I didn't mention it before - and I should have - but my sincere condolences on your loss.Daniel M. Clark

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. What a great friend you must have been to him. Your commitment to him after his departure is a great testimonial as to what true friends are all about.
The poster is great. I would recommend moving the box with his name and dates to the middle under his feet and see how that looks. If that doesn't work, possibly move it to the lower right side as previously suggested.

I still remember the advertisement that Yul Brynner ( spelling? ) made before he passed. I think it made a real impact. Here is a youtube vid of it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNjunlWUJJI
Messages such as the one you are making can save lives, good luck to you, what you are doing shows a lot of character and resolve on your part.Following everyone else is a GREAT way to become average.
