    Being part of any community will do that, it is certainly not limited to blogging, and a forum is probably going to allow you to feel less isolated more quickly than building a blog community.

    Haha! I can relate to this. My blogs tend to keep me away from my social life if I'm not careful to turn off the computer and get out sometimes.
