    Melissa (PajamaLady) won me.

I really thought she was just donating money to charity 'cause she's nice, and dinner between friends was just icing on the cake. The same as when we have dinner when we go to Laughlin.

But after the appetizers, she pulled out a written list of questions - LOL

    You asking for details?

Dinner was at The Venitian. I didn't know what to bring. Is a rose appropriate for someone who "bought" you? A married women? I got her a brass Venetian snow globe.

The pre-appetizers talk was great - any dinner with a friend is a treasure.

As I said, she whipped out a list, but made me sign a NDA (just kidding).

I can't say what Mel got from the dinner, but I got more then I deserved. I had a one-on-one with someone who started with a goofy idea and one pajama, and built it up to the point where she's the Donald Trump of Mohave.

And I got the merchat's POV on everything. Not an AM's view, an OPM's view, the marketing department's view - I got the actual merchant. How often does that happen.

And fortunately, we had just had a tour of her plant over Thanksgiving, so I understood everything she was relating.

At sunset after dinner, we stolled the canal to the balcony overlooking the Mirage Volcano. She put her hand in mine, the volcano erupted....

    oh wait... wrong date....

We stood outside and talked shop for another hour or so waiting for the volcano... turns out it was under repair. A SIGN would have been nice!

Seriously, I stated in a different thread that the wrong person paid for dinner.

    Thanks Mel and Affiliate Summit

I have had a crazy day today, but your post gave me a great laugh!

I hope that I didn't torture you too much last month.

My dinner with Paula from Avanquest Software was great! We exchanged several emails between the time the auction ended and when we went to dinner, and I spend some time researching their program and making some specific observations and suggestions. I had never heard of their program before, and was really impressed with how many affiliate-friendly policies they were already following (and that they already had in the planning stages). This is definitely an up and coming program. Paula and her team are on the ball.

As far as dinner went... I was in Vegas for a week and ate at a dozen of the best restaurants during that time. Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse (where Paula and I went) was the best of them all!

I think it was worthwhile, and would gladly participate again.
