    Google Land Speed Record
So I have a blog about kayak fishing. I pointed out a product that the company I work for has on one of their websites at 11:30 EST this morning (straight link of course, not an aff link).

I just did a search for a related term for the product on G, and I rank number one for the term already.

Amazing. 18 minutes to #1 on google. I should write an e-book.

    Sweeeeeeeet!

Proves there's a neglected niche ready to be tapped every 18 minutes. ;-)

    Kevin,

Are you using a subscriber service or a major domain?

    i.e. NAME dot wordpress.com
I know that i get some crazy crawls by google and fed to even CNN when i have NAME dor wordpress.com. Even indexed and outrank CNN in some cases.

The wordpress install is on my own domain, not WPs, and I just use Wordpress's in built pinging service.

I don't do any "unnatural" submits, etc.

And Rexanne is right. We are talking a niche here. If I could do it with debt consolidation <>, I'd see you on the beach.

Sometimes the speed is just amazing.

I've got Google Alerts set up for an issue I blog about. Usually it takes about 5 minutes from when I hit post on Wordpress for me to get that google alert if I write about that topic. Love it!
