That's an interesting claim. Do you have stats or historical data you can share? How much lower are the commissions and how long have you been tracking service downtimes? If you've got something I'm sure a lot of us will be keenly interested.

I don't have enough statistical data to track this sort of thing but I think I'm going to start...

I have enough data, being able to see into numerous affiliate programs, and my own account. There was no drop in sales that I can see for yesterday's outage, and my publisher account had it's best day in 2 weeks.

A few always say this, but I always see quite the opposite.

So one of two things are happening.

    1) I just happen to have a campaign that is always affected
    2) The others that see this are not on the board or will not admit to it.

Tracking is always maintained during an outage..

Since my web logs always say something different then my cj account, I will have to take them at their word, and be thankful for what is captured.

I've compared back-end numbers with CJ numbers for these downtimes in the past, and there is no difference. One program even saw a significant spike that evening.

Yes. All back-end transactions attributed to CJ matched exactly what CJ reported.

Then I guess you are luckier than me, I always see the complete opposite.

I'm referring to the advertiser/merchant end of things. From all that I have access to, it shows that CJ tracked 100% of all transactions. This is among many publishers, and quite a few programs.

This is not a good club to be in but I am glad I am not in it alone.
It makes me feel better about my campaigns, however now I question the statement: "Tracking will was not affected during this...".

i create a ticket at CJ. They gave me a lame answer that there were no sales during this time. I have noticed that there is some issue with the "hide tracking code" links perhaps so now i changed the link to with tracking code.

Do you track the links yourself ( and not with cj supplied logs ) ?
