    Direct AID PID links works?
I want to know if i use a Direct AID/ PID link intead of the standard hopover ]hxxp://dopxkss.net kinda links, will this count for conversion?

Basically if i viisit this dopxls.net, i land up on a page which has my PID on it. Technically it should work as long as CJ manages to fire the pixel and track conversions.

    Anyone knows about this?

A CJ cookie is not set unless you go through the CJ link, so it won't track.

then how come links are tracked for ebay when you dont have anything else but PID on it?

I have seen a advertiser in my niche doing the same thing so wondering how cj manages to track?

Because eBay tracks it (Rover), then send the info to CJ in a batch.

As far as how your nichemate does it.... would need more info.

he is my competitor not a mate lol. Well he just put the whole landing page links like this

    http://sudomain.xyz.com/reg/landing_...1XX&PID=27XXXX

is it that he sneaked in a good redirection which is un-noticable? or its a direct link?

Buy.com and eBay use different link structures. There may be some batch merchants that allow the direct link, but none that I know of. One program I helped with on the technical end unofficially allowed that (in other words, it worked, but wasn't proper), but lost that functionality when they moved to a pixel implementation. So even if a merchant other than eBay or Buy.com works by just adding the query string, it's not guaranteed forever.

Mind sharing the merchant? I can take a look into the specific merchant and give you a better answer.
