    Question with Bounce redirect
Hi, I have joined Bounced and placed the JavaScript in my header. I have one problem though. I use a web links module for php nuke and all my links have their own ID's. So, my links go something like mysite.com to visit link ID # and then it redirects to the URL requested.

Now, I use Bounce in there, and now my link reads: Bounce redirect then it goes my site visit link id # then to url requested.

So, the bounce is first, then my sites way of doing links then it redirects to the destination. I don't see how I will get credit for the affiliate?

The even larger issue though is even though placed in my header, I don't see bounce activated anywhere in the modules at all. I only see this working in my menu block and some links on my home page. It looks like depending on the block or module and how it is set up, it will work or not.

I did try to put the code as I do with Google, on my module index page, but it did not register.

What do you think? Please help... I have loads + loads of links - it is a huge part of the site as a directory database.

    Thanks,

    Shari

    Hi Shari,

We haven't taken a look as to how to support PHP Nuke, but will now.

    In regards to your questions:

    1. In order for bounce to work, the link needs to look like this:

    http://bounce.cc/redirect/bounce1.ph...rchantsite.com

    NOT

    http://bounce.cc/redirect/bounce1.ph...m&linkid=12345

In other words, the bounceURL has to be equal to the destination page, otherwise bounce has no way of knowing what the final url is.

    2. In regards to the javascript in the header, it sounds like this won't work for you for a couple reasons. a) It is only rolling through and changing your masked links and b) it seems that the PHP Nuke modules aren't converted. Form the sounds of this, I'll have to take a look at how to integrate bounce into PHP Nuke so that it's referenced after the redirect. Let me know if you're interested in this and send me your site so I can take a look to my email address in my signature.

    Thanks,

    Jon
