Ads not showing at all for certain keywords
I've got an adwords campaign that has keywords ranking mainly good, with some greats. Some have min bids as low as .02.

The problem is, when I search on the keywords in this ad group, my ads don't show up in search results. Granted hardly any ads show up (on the order of 2 or less per page), but I'm really confused by several of the .02 cent min bid keywords that I'm bidding .10 on that aren't causing results in searches.

When I try the keyword in the Google Ad Preview tool, my ads show up as I'd expect them.

Anyone else seeing this type behaviour??

212TomTom clear your cache and cookies and try again. Sometimes Google won't show the same ads that you've already seen.

    Rematt,

    Thanks!! That did the trick.

I'm rather confused as to why Google would track which ads it has shown me, and not show it again. Any insight on this? Seems like Google would always want to show the relevant ads along with search results, even if they had been seen before.

I know it would seem to make sense. Their logic may be that if it were such a good hit before, why are you performing the same search?

Google is trying to improve the user experiencing by giving less weight to ads that you see often but don't click (and thus you're supposedly not interested in them). Read the "Ads Customized to Your Search History" section of the article at http://www.seomoz.org/blog/four-rece...ay-have-missed for a longer explanation.
