When a bunch of you were saying NY Is lucky because we were going to get him as a Gov.

I said no we aren't or someting of the sorts. This dumb ass of a Gov we have, has been in scandle after scandle and now we find out he was involved with a prostitution ring?

I bet you 20 dollars some chick was going to cry rape, and he is going to claim he paid for it.

As far as I've read so far, the only thing he seems guilty of is actually hiring a prostitute. Have I read that correctly? If so, it's a little disingenuous to say he was 'involved in a prostitution ring' because that implies that he was running it or was involved in running it.

I'm not taking a stance one way or another on the guy, today was actually the first time I ever heard his name.

    From the article:
The Times reported that a person with knowledge of Spitzer's role believes the governor is one of the men identified as clients in court papers.
So, they're saying he was a client. Again, I'm not defending the guy, but in the interest of fairness, there's a difference between hiring a prostitute and "being involved in a prostitution ring", which has connotations that do not apply to him.

HOLY CRAP I SHOULD OF BET ON IT damnit lol.

If he was just a client I doubt he would resign.

He was probably bribed or made money from it etc. I doubt he was just a client.

Like the hair club for men guy, not only was he the president, he was a client too.

No reason for him to resign if he had no involvement in the operation/ownership of the ring.

Last time I looked, Senator David Vitter, Republican - Louisiana, was still in the Senate, and for that matter, so is Sen. Larry Craig, Republican - Idaho.

Guess what news reports here in NYC say he has been indicted.

WOW He was indicted for just being a client? Yeah right

    Differences?

A - Hiring a working girl means a desperate man hungry for s*x!

B - Being involved in a working girl ring gig, means a pimp!

But if you're really famous, you can always claim this line:

    I did'nt have s*x with that woman!

Who knows, you too may get away with it!

Obviously if he has been indicted and if he has resigned, then he was more than just a client.
However, as to an indictment - not impossible that political motives have influenced NY politicos to indict their Gov. for a minor offense.

Well he just had a 30 second press conference, he said he failed the state blah blah, didn't exactly resign but some news people here in NY says it sounds like a resignation but not an out right resignation that he may just be waiting to say he resigned when he finds a replacement or someting.

The local ABC lady is about to cry lol she and spitzer are like best of buds or something her voice is all crackling sounds like she wants to kill her self lol.

CNN says he apologized - no mention of resignation. He doesn't "find" a replacement - David A. Paterson, New York’s lieutenant governor, would become the new governor and serve out the term.
