    Hello,

In most of the stats program, you can view entry and exit pages. But there is no way telling how the visitor left, if he pressed back button, typed in another address or went to the merchant site. Is there any software that can tell you this?

When a user exits your page for whatever reasons, the browser does not send anything to the webserver. Therefore nothing is logged in your access logs. Therefore, no stats program could determine it.

I'm not taking into account javascript and there may be a way with some funky javascript on your pages to get this functionality.

You could write a BHO that would track that sort of thing and could do a whole lot more!

It's part of an reporting system currently being developed that we designed about two months ago ... some pretty neat stuff IMO.
