    What Ages Are Your Kids?
Talking with others at Affiliate Summit and here on ABW, I've been amazed at how many people have young kids. Just in case anyone ever wants to plan something for the kids at one of the events, I thought it might be handy to get a general idea of what ages of kids everyone has. It might also be useful for those trying to decide what to give away at their booths (because parents love to take stuff home to their kids).

You can select multiple categories, so please select each age range in which you have kids.
    Preliminary Results

Okay, some preliminary numbers, as of 3/18/08 with 77 people voting:

    20% have no kids
40% have kids 18 or younger
40% have kids over 18 (WOW!)

Of the ones with young kids, 5-8 was the biggest group, with more than one in four having kids in that range! A significant number have kids younger than 5, too.

I have a son who is 4, soon to be 5 (in April), and a daughter who is 6, soon to be 7 (in April).

April is a busy month for my family, heck even my own birthday is in April...

Yeah, my little girl is going to be with us at the Boston Affiliate Summit. Of course, she works for my business in the summer and is 27.

She will have our new granddaughter there also - so the rest of the family (Mrs. Beachy, Mrs. Beachy-Sister, and Beachy-Son-In-Law) will get to share babysitting duties while Beachy-Little-Girl and I work the conference.

We also have a son, 31 - but he lives in California and won't get to Boston.

We sure love them. I'm still holding hope for a grandson by our 19 year old some day. He's really got the pressure on since it's solely up to him to carry on the family name.

I'm surprised at the number of over 18s in the pole. Are there any demographics for age of ABW members?

Get her on the computer as soon as possible. I'm sure she probably already is.
Our 19 year old started on the computer at 2 1/2. There were only DOS apps then and he was reading at 4th grade level by the time he hit kindergarten due to the requirement to read menus on the computer. His SATs throughout his school years consistently rated him at beyond high school level in several subject categories. I attribute that partly to sitting at that silly DOS computer when he was little.

    Ok, I get it.
In those terms our first daughter(a Scottie) lived to 112, our second daughter(a Scottie) lived to 105. And our current daughter(Lhasa/Shitzu designer) is 21.

Was that a typo, or are you over 92?

There is nothing wrong if you're over 92, but if you're, then I think you should have the to qualify for some kind of ABW and Affiliate Summit, extra privileges and prices, like: a , , 's.

    Daughter 2
Daughter "4 and a half" (as she says)
    Daughter 7

The two eldest have their birthdays just one day apart, which means two separate bday parties on consecutive weekends...
