Wordtracker has some real value, but Alexa is very misleading....

Alexa is not very useful unless you install their software, their "ratings" only count rankings for sites their own members visit and their rankings are only valid in comparison with other sites that Alexa members visit. That leaves a lot of sites out of their ranking system. Maria's home page could concievably be #1 and CNN could be #4,857,246 .

There are many useful tools that are free, and many or probably most of them can be found here in ABW. When money is low it pays to use the resources at hand. If there's something that you're trying to learn about or wonder how it's done, the answer is quite likely here on the forum if it has to do with affiliate marketing. If you search and come up empty then it may pay to ask or search outside of ABW. Nothing wrong with trying to be helpful but it draws more applause if it hasn't already been done.

Yup, do a search for both wordtracker and alexa and you will get an education.

Aaron Wall's Keyword tool pulls a little data out of Wordtracker and it is free:

    http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/

I think they make 15 results available to partners through an API.
