    Unhappy The competition
Hi. I have been an affiliate with Ticketmaster for a few months now. The program is great, but I think we deserve a raise! I mean, do you see what the competition offers? For example, Ticketnetwork's program pays a 12.5% commission! How does everyone else feel about this?

Change your links over to the Ticketnetwork's program if they pay you more.

    Eva,

Do your research and you will see there is no competition.

This is the difference between PRIMARY and SECONDARY ticketing.

1)Security of the Tickets (authorized versus unauthorized)

    2)Selection of tickets offered

    3)Dealing with the

As you know, commissions are based NOT on the PRICE of the product but really upon what the ADVERTISING merchant receives:

In secondary ticketing you get your commissions based upon the revenue received by the ticketing company (the price of the ticket)

In primary ticketing, you get the commission based upon the service charges the ticketing company receives.

Secondary ticketing is about selling one big item

Primary ticketing is about selling 10x what you would sell in secondary ticketing

In secondary ticketing you have less selection. You might only have a few tickets per each section left. In primary ticketing you have hundreds and are able to offer more and hopefully sell more.

In secondary ticketing, most people dont have the ability to validate tickets (someone can sell multiple fakes). In primary ticketing, the user knows they are getting real tickets.

Ticketmaster gets many complaints every day from people who were sold fake tickets from people who buy tickets from merchants at other affiliate programs and there is nothing we can do once it leaves our system.

Hope that answers your question ...

I didn't know they had dulce de leche in Argentina! I thought it was a Dominican thing. I remember buying wonderful white bricks of the stuff at the corner "Bodega" when I was a little boy growing up in Queens. That really brings me back --
