Domains don't get deleted for a certain amount of days (sorry I don't recall how many). They can still claim it. Login to where your host your domains, try to renew it, and see what happens. I've done this plenty of times with Godaddy on names I forgot to renew.

if its only been a week just contact the registrar, they typically hold them for 30 days.

If it has not been snatched by someone else, just pay to renew it. Any reputable register co will gladly take the $$ and renew it. If someone else has registered it, then I don't know what to say, other that look up the info in whois as to who has it now and contact them about buying it back. Hint: All of my domains are on auto renewal since I had one lapse a while back. (changed emails and didn't get the message it was about to expire)

Thanks for the quick replies. It looks like it was a billing issue. Now I need to get the CC info from the person or have them call.
    Thanks,
    Doug

    Bzzzt. Depends on the registrar.

Come of them switch them over to a parking page and change the WHOIS data to their own the minute the name expires. Good luck getting it back.

I have nothing against Globat, but NEVER keep your domain and hosting account in the same place. Disputes with hosts DO happen, and if they lock your account then they've got your domain too.. you are stuffed, basically.
