    "America Online's subscriber base plunged by 846,000 in the second quarter, as hundreds of thousands left for cheaper or faster Internet connections and a similar number were dropped because they had been mistakenly counted in the past, AOL Time Warner Inc. disclosed yesterday."

    Looks like the demographic is changing. Higher percentage of people who will pay higher prices if the product or servive is presented correctly.

    I think that AOL has a terrible reputation. We signed up and used them once, and we last 1 day. It was hell! I hate their service

    they'd better leave us Compuserve users alone! We've been paying 9.95 for cheap hosting for years. just a few years ago the hosting servers became reasonably fast, although we weren't given any more than the original 5 megs offered.

    She was only a stableman's daughter, but all the horsemen knew her.
