I was getting lots of green but now I see nothing but copper. Has anyone else noticed a low ticket value sales trend in the last couple of months? I am making steady sales but they are all very inexpensive items. My inventory hasn't changed but the sales are down to piddly things. Payday next month is going to stink.

I don't believe my visitor demographics has changed from the regular google people I always had. Is this because of the diving economy? Is this because of google's lagging? Is it because of bad Karma ?

    Help!!!

Yeah, I've been seeing the same thing! There have been a few exceptions recently, but overall for this summer I have been amazed at the amount of cheap sh*t people have been managing to find at my merchants. I didn't think some of them even *had* such cheapie stuff!

I don't know what's causing it. The economy's my top guess, though.

I didn't notice it until reading this thread, but the same thing is happening to me. Very inexpensive items being sold, lots of eBay bids, etc.

I think it's a combination of the season and the economy.

number of clicks to cj is WAY up... (got that nice looking exponential graph going! )

number of sales is slightly up... (# sales kinda flat, but still trending up)

$ commission is far short of the last 2 months... (wow.. peaked in June, sliding back down)

Largely the same here. Everything is relatively steady, but it seems most folks are looking for the cheapest stuff.

Back-to-school season will soon be here!

I see this as well. Especially one merchant where individual sales are about $200 now brings me sales with $15,$59,$75. Almost only small amounts in the last weeks.

Perhaps I am paranoid, but for me it looks like the merchants or s.o. else take the big amounts for themselve and distribute the small ones to us affiliates.

Lots of little sales here also. I suppose I should be happy to be getting something, which I suppose I am. Ink sales have pretty much vanished for me. Book sales are non existent which I thought would of started picking up about now and the list goes on and on.

I peaked out in April. May ended up being down from April, June was down from May

This month seems to be on an up swing if the trend holds out for the month Hopefully we are on an up hill ride from here on.

Sales peaked in June here, but only a small drop since then. I've also notices lots of cheap stuff sales. In some cases the shipping was more than the product. Duh. Back-to-school type search terms are already beginning to show up on my internal search stats. Women's clothing and home improvement have been the top catagories for this month.
