I was contacted by Travelzoo about putting their deals ads on my site. It's a PPC program. They sent me a contract which I'm not too crazy about. They require that the publisher earn a minimum of $500 before payout. They also protect themselves by indicating that if any of their advertisers are in arrears, they reserve the right to hold payment for those advertisers.
When I was initially contacted, they gave me two sites that I could see their creative running on, as examples. I now see that one of those sites no longer has Travelzoo on their site. I also see another site that I frequent regularly that just started with Travelzoo.
Anyone have any experience with Travelzoo as an advertiser?

Actually, them holding payment until you get to a $500 level is what is really crazy. They are dealing all of the cards - and they also get to stack the deck. I, was approached by them (if I recall correctly) a while back, and I politely said, No Thank You.
If you want some revenue form PPC ads, from a company that pays reliably and monthly at a $100 threshold, and does NOT hold $$ back form non-paying advertisers, try AdSense.
