    Any plans for trackable videos?
I was working on some stuff for one of the SAS merchants today and found they have an outstanding video on their website.

But I couldn't find a way to work it out to use that video or link to it on my website and have it work with my affiliate ID.

Unfortunately, I then remember it was that OTHER, excellent network which uses trackable video ads. (I use several of theirs to other merchants. They don't have this particular merchant, however.)

Any possibilities of trackable video ads for SAS merchants??

    writerguy,

A merchant could feasibly set that up in their account for you right now using the existing "Flash" banners technology... but ShareASale is also working on some things now that will make it easier for merchants and affiliates to utilize video.
    Thanks,

What Heather is using for her Organic India program seems interesting.

Hmm. I'll have to look at that.

I know JRami has some videos, too, with EverythingFurniture.

I have an SAS merchant making their videos now.
We told them to convert it to flash per SAS CS.
Should we tell them to wait?

You could copy the merchant's URL for the page where the video is and use the "Make a Custom Link" feature at SAS to that URL for a link like "Watch the BRANDX Video", that would send them to the merchant site to see the video and take care of the cookie too. I found a merchant's videos on YouTube and put them on their own little pages with a "More Info" link to the merchant via the "Make a Custom Link" feature. Ugly URL though.

I actually tried something similar to this. This merchant requires people filling out a form and I really need to link to that form. The video itself is on a sidebar on one of their site pages, so if I link to the page, it really isn't easy to "point" them at the video. And if I link directly to the video, the video shows -- but doesn't send them on to fill out the sign up form.
