    Exclamation Parting Ways With Danmer
Effective immediately (Thursday, 27 March 2008, 12:30 am EST) I am parting ways with Danmer, and announce that AM Navigator is no longer managing the Danmer.com affiliate program.

More than anything I wanted to reach acceptable resolutions with every affiliate who has been affected by this, and only then make this announcement. Now that the incident is closed (Donna, your commission has been raised to the highest possible level too), I am putting a period to this chapter of my life.

Sounds like a smart move. Good luck with closing it out.

That's actually a shame Geno. Danmer is a perfect example of a merchant that needs your level of guidance and integrity. Unfortunately for them, most of the credibility that they had left, leaves with you.

It's definitely a shame, but it's the right thing to do, I think. Congratulations on taking the high road, Geno.

Sorry Geno. But interestingly we are often rewarded in the long term for making some of these hard decisions.

What's the benefit to a huge commission rate from a merchant you don't trust?

Since I have a site for them already built and hosted I'll leave it there, but if it sends any customers I don't expect to hear about it. I think I'll put some adsense on the site and see if that pays enough to cover the domain and hosting. If not I'll let it expire.

Unless I happen to get a commission from it. Then it can stay.

Yes, I got paid $50 for making the site, but I wouldn't have done it for that if I didn't think I'd get commissions as well.

I appreciate your posts in this thread, everyone, but since it was not meant to be another "discussion about Danmer" thread (but rather an announcement thread), I am closing it.
