    Reading Commission Junction reports
    Hi, I apologize if this is a really simple question but how do I read the CJ reports? I noticed I had a sale today and when I run a report and click on the details page it doesn't tell me what the sale was. I'm used to Sharasale in that you click on the details link and it shows you the exact Popshops image that the customer clicked on. Is there something I'm missing with the CJ reporting?

    Nope, with cj I'm just glad I made a sale.

    I think there might be a way to add some identifier, when you make the link at cj, (but I've never had the time) otherwise I haven't been able to ever see what it is that I've sold.

    Well, isn't that funny. You would think that would be an obvious feature for them to have. Oh well Thanks Lily!

    At CJ, if the sale was made through a PopShops link, the word "popshops" will appear in the "SID" column of the report. If you have a Popshops Enterprise account, you can replace the "popshops" ID with whatever you want.

    I just reread your original question. I misunderstood you. I thought you were asking how to tell if a sale was attributed to a Popshops link. Sorry.

    But that would mean typing in thousands of "pophops" ids by hand for some of us, I think.

    You can assign a shop name or change it to popshops_thisname, which will then show up in the CJ report. In Preferences, tracking subaccount, just add to what's there or replace it with something meaningful to you. (I think this is an Enterprise account feature.)
