    Here we go again.
Granted, the economy is iffy right now, but in light of 2 recent events involving myself, and other events I've seen happen to other OPMs here recently, I'm getting out of affiliate management.

I'm going to go back to getting screwed the old fashioned way: as an affiliate.

Regardless of the troubles that affiliates face, which are many, there is a level of freedom that I miss terribly. And at least if a corporation screws you as an affiliate, you have the means to walk away quickly and easily. They can't take your traffic from you.

Of course, I'll still be hanging around here (but it does mean the end of my involvement with SlumberMart, both as their e-commerce manager and their AM).

    Screw em all, I say.

Why not do both and transition?

    Sorry!
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die
to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there
isn't and die to find out there is.

I won't do both. I don't personally believe in it, although I don't have too much of a problem with others doing it. Too much

Good decision Kevin, you are a great OPM, but you are still working for others. You have the ability to continue your affiliate efforts and you have other options as well...

Umm......well I'll just leave that alone.

Anyway, freedom is wonderful and I hope you enjoy it.

Wow buddy! I hope you make it big again. I don't regret making the leap from affiliate to OPM but could be happy as an affiliate too so this isn't bad news. Congrats on your decision! I left you a voicemail on your cell.

    Pro:

I got in the habit of writing "quickly and easily" all the time for our marketing at the old j*b, so it's burned into my retinas. Nothing is ever really quick and easy.

And thanks to all for the kind words. Love you all.

Does this mean you will have time to catch a Pirates game this season? Let me know if you are ever in the area. Congrats on your affiliate re-birth!
